My name is Cheyenne; a gal who was born and raised in the heart or hand, of the midwest. (Otherwise known as Michigan.) In 2013, I packed up everything I could fit into my car and moved to a little town in northern Idaho called Coeur d'Alene. I was immediately inspired by the surrounding small community of makers and began selling my art, whatever that was to me at the time…Most likely necklaces, scarves, beaded bracelets, maybe a photograph or two.

When I moved into my tiny studio apartment in Coeur d’Alene, I really wanted to make some pretty wall pieces. So I started researching and learning how to macramé. After I finished my first piece, I had to make another. Then I started dying them and painting them all different colors! I became addicted. Soon I had so many hangings that I was forced to start giving them away because I had no more space for them. When my friends and family saw what I was doing - they convinced me to start putting my work out there in the world for everyone to see... Thus, Cheyenne Moon was born.

I make sure to keep a few of my most popular designs for sale in the shop at all times - but the real fun comes from designing custom macramé hangings just for you. Whether it’s for a new nursery or a beautiful wedding day backdrop…It is such a treat to see my art find a new home. My pieces are molded by all the things that inspire me & I hope they bring you joy.
